Multiply Your Savings With Multiple Coupons!

Here’s a tip for all the newbies out there – multiple coupons are a must! The majority of my coupons come from the Sunday newspaper or are printed from the Internet. Depending on what coupons are in the Sunday paper I will purchase between 2 – 6 papers each week. My wonderful mom also mails me 2-4 inserts each week & a lady I work with brings me inserts too.

Why are multiple coupons an important money saving strategy? To get the most for your money many deals require you to have more than one of the same coupons. Many times grocery stores run promotions that require you to buy a certain number of products to get a discount off your total. Multiple coupons also allow you build a stockpile of goods at the best price possible.

There are a number of resources I use to search for, manage, and print manufacturer coupons.

HotCouponWorld offers a Coupon Database that makes it easy to search for manufacturer coupons that are currently available. I use the Coupon Database to search for Internet printable coupons on items that I need or items I know are on sale/going on sale. Did you know? Most IP coupons can be printed twice by hitting the back button after the first one prints.

I also utilize HCW’s Target Coupon Generator for the latest Target coupons. Using the Target Generator saves paper, ink, and clipping time by generating multiples of target in-store coupons. Remember, in-store coupons can be combined with manufacturer's coupons for additional savings. For the most up-to-date Target deal discussions visit this forum.

Additional coupon resources including printables, pricebooks, and more are available HERE!

Hey Jamie...I can't wait to get to Publix this week for the $0.25 Glass Plus deal. I hope that you are having a great week. I love your blog.

Jamie I am curious as to an inexpensive storage shelves. I am searching FREECYCLE and Craigslist in hopes to find something free or cheap. Any suggestions on storage methods?

I buy the early Sunday edition of the paper on Saturday. It has the coupon inserts, but costs less than the Sunday paper. And my Wags even discounts it by half!YMMV.

Wow Jodi! That sounds like a great deal! I wish we had an early edition around here! Our paper is terrible!!

i am a newbie...and i was wondering...when you buy multiples of one item do you buy them in one transaction? if so, you can use multiple coupons for those items? i dont know if that makes sense? lol thanks!

Anon-Whether I buy multiples of an item depends on where I'm shopping and if there are limits on the number of coupons per transaction.

General Coupon Rules Are:
-1 coupon per item
-you can "stack" a manuf. coupon with a store coupon (ie taget printable coupon) or e-coupon (shortcut/cellfire Q's) unless either coupon specifies otherwise.

Hope that helpes!
